Christmas Trees

We will be open the weekend of December 11 & 12, 2021! We have a beautiful selection of pre-cut Balsam, Douglas and Fraser fir in the 6-12 foot range! Hope to see you at the farm!

One of the most cherished Christmas traditions is finding and decorating the family tree. Sandhill Tree Farm can make this a fun and memorable occasion. We invite you, your family, and friends to spend a day on the farm, choosing and cutting your own Christmas tree.

Sandhill has more than 35 acres of sustainably grown Fraser Firs. All our trees are easily accessible from adjacent roads; parking is ample, and there are no slippery slopes to climb. Our friendly and helpful staff will wrap your tree in netting at no extra charge. We furnish saws and twine and are happy to lend a hand if you want help cutting down a tree. If you prefer to enjoy the farm but not cut down a tree, we offer pre-cut retail trees as well.

Add to the fun by enjoying:

  • Complimentary hot chocolate and candy canes

  • A roaring bonfire

  • Our holiday gift shop

  • Wreaths of all sizes to decorate your home

  • Unique photo opportunities including an antique horse carriage

  • And the traditional shot of holiday cheer!

Your well-behaved pooch is welcome – on a leash!

For Christmas 2021, we are open 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

on the following days:

  • November 20, 21

  • November 26, 27 and 28

  • December 4, 5

  • December 11 and 12

COVID-19 Precautions

The safety of our guests and employees means everything to us. We do all we can to operate safely by following CDC recommendations and local health department guidelines.

We will also make special accommodations for at-risk families, who would like to visit and get a tree outside regular operating hours. This is by appointment only and does not include the holiday festivities listed above.

We also offer the same accommodations to families with autistic children or those with other sensory processing disorders.

If you don’t feel comfortable visiting Sandhill Tree Farm now, we understand and hope you will join us in the future. In the meantime, we can select and deliver a tree to you. Simply give us a call.

We believe that each of us has to do what we feel is right and/or safe for ourselves and our families during this time. With that decision comes personal responsibility to voluntarily assume and accept all risks associated with that decision, including the potential risk of exposure to COVID-19.
